As of today the Enterprise Self-Hosted Edition of PowerSync is available for companies that want the benefits of local-first but also want control over hosting, advanced capabilities, and dedicated support from our team.
PowerSync for Enterprise Local-First
PowerSync provides the benefits of local-first architecture while requiring minimal changes to database environments (no schema additions or restrictions are required — only a logical replication publication). PowerSync is compatible with corporate IdP solutions and also re-uses existing backend APIs to sync mutations, thereby preserving existing business logic, authorization rules and validations.
Here at JourneyApps (PowerSync’s parent company), we have over a decade of experience in deploying enterprise-grade software solutions at some of the world’s largest companies in mission-critical and challenging environments such as offshore oil rigs, underground & open-air mines and medical care facilities. Our experienced team enjoy the unique challenges that each enterprise customer presents, and we are excited to leverage this expertise with PowerSync and work closely with customers to meet their needs.
Advanced Enterprise-Focused Capabilities
Our Enterprise Self-Hosted Edition shares a common core with our upcoming Open Edition, but during build we inject additional modules only available to Enterprise customers. These modules will provide additional capabilities around observability & metrics, scaling, security and additional ingestion options. Customers can deploy all of this on their own cloud or on-premise environment for ultimate control over their infrastructure.
We also plan to release Enterprise client SDKs with additional features around client-side data security such as data leases which provide an additional layer of app-level data protection over and above that provided by MDM solutions, as well as end-to-end encryption support.
We look forward to working closely with customers to expand our Enterprise capabilities and roadmap over time.
